Picture of a view into a deep cave, people at the end of the cave — Cave north of Kiloran Bay, Isle of Colonsay

Slightly hidden just north of Kiloran Bay is an impressive cave. We visited it with Kevin Byrne during the Islay Walking Week 2019 excursion to Colonsay, you can see some of the walkers in the distance inside of the cave. We had some powerful torches, otherwise it would have been very dark inside the cave.

Kiloran Bay from the north panorama, Isle of ColonsayAfter visiting the cave we climbed up the hillside on the north of Kiloran Bay, enjoying this view south over the beach and the bay. Some clouds had started to move in, but it was still bright and nice.
