| Refurbishment and expansion work is well under way at the Finlaggan visitor centre on Islay in July 2008. The centre is officially (re-)opened on 16/May/2009, when this picture is posted. At the centre the visitor can learn about Finlaggan and the history of the Lord of the Isles, who ruled large parts of the west of Scotland from Islay. | |
