Not sure where exactly I took this picture of James (RSPB Islay) and Ian (WalkIslay coordinator) leading us into the great wide open. It is somewhere near Gruinart, in the wide and sometimes bleak rolling hills to the west of Loch Gruinart. In the distance you can see the hills at Sanaigmore, although our walk took us north to Ardnave.
