| Wild seas at Kilchoman Beach in Machir Bay on the west coast of Islay during an October storm. During a series of autumn storms a big swell had built up, driving wave upon wave into Machir Bay, turning the sea almost white as they were breaking upon approaching the beach. The air was full of spray and salt, the roar of the wind and sea providing the sound. |
