Like any other building distilleries need maintenance, in particular in Islay's harsh weather conditions. Unfortunately I can't remember what exactly they were doing, but here is some maintenance work going on at Lagavulin distillery on the south coast of Islay. Must have been a great view of the distillery from up there!
