Another now closed distillery on Islay, Port Ellen distillery. Any visitor to Islay arriving by ferry to Port Ellen will be familiar with the sight of the whitewashed warehouse and the big Port Ellen lettering on them. This is another row of warehouses just behind it. There is still whisky from the distillery closed in 1983 maturing in some of them, others I believe are now being used by Lagavulin.
