If you fly to Islay you get to see at least three distilleries from the air (weather permitting). And depending on wind direction you might come in across the beach (just don’t land on it).
I may prefer Barra, but I also have a T-Shirt and a hoodie saying “I’d rather be on Islay”, so there is a bit of obligation involved as well. But wait – wouldn’t it be totally awesome to wear that stuff, say, in a Speyside distillery? 😀

It’s not that easy. I want to go with +Florian Sokoll , but he suggested to go to Barra, mainly because of the airport.
