Seen from Ardnave, the Hebridean Air Services plane on its way from Islay to Colonsay (and on to Oban). Here it is passing the mouth of Loch Gruinart, Killinallan (not visible) on the right. Paps of Jura on the horizon.
A June evening on the north western side of Ardnave, looking west. The sun is still quite high in the sky even at gone 19:00 hrs in the evening. The coast turns more rocky here compared to the dunes further north east.
A view across Loch Gruinart at low tide on a June afternoon on Islay. Just across the loch the dunes at Killinallan Point. In the distance two of the Paps of Jura, with Beinn an Oir on the left.
