A few steps further from the Killinallan dunes at high tide, just about to go around the corner at Killinallan Point. Ardnave visible on the other side of Loch Gruinart.
An old panorama (taken in 1999), but then again I think this view hasn’t really changed that much since then. We’re looking north to over Loch Gruinart from the Killinallan gate. Ardnave on the left, Killinallan point with the dunes on the right of the loch.
A memory from an Islay walking week walk past Killinallan Point along the beach, Tràigh Baile Aonghais, to Gortantaoid Point. Here we enjoyed a lunch in the April sunshine with a beautiful view along the beach and over to Ardnave.
