A view across Ardnave Loch on a June late afternoon, a pair of Mute Swans feeding with their cygnets. Also a few Sand Martins (I think) flying past.
A panoramic view of the beach at Killinallan Point, at the entrance to Loch Gruinart. The dunes at Ardnave on the left, on the other side of Loch Gruinart. Hills in the north of Islay in the distance on the right.
It almost looks like they’re having a chat, two sheep and a Chough spotted in the machair at Ardnave. Choughs have a stronghold on Islay, in particular at Ardnave and Kilchoman.
