A different view of Loch Gruinart at Ardnave, not from the top of the dunes, not from the beach either, but from somewhere half way, from a gap in the dunes. It’s low tide in the loch with sandbanks visible almost all the way. Killinallan Point visible across the loch, also the tops of the Paps of Jura on the horizon.
A wider view of the coast between Ardnave and Sanaigmore, this time with a panoramic view taken on a beautiful June evening on Islay. The June evening sun in the sky (partially hidden by some passing clouds), Sanaigmore in the distance just left of centre.
Seen from Ardnave Point, a good number of seals on the pebble beach on Nave Island just off Islay.
