A female Hen Harrier on the hunt, flying low above some Yellow Flag Iris in a field. Not entirely sure where I took the picture apart from that it was on the Loch Gorm circuit, I think probably somewhere between Coull Farm and Saligo.
Some of the fascinating cliff formations with various layers on the west coast of Islay, north of Saligo and Coull. Picture courtesy of my sister Imke.
An April evening on the west coast of Islay. The sun is reflecting on the water of Machir Bay and the North Channel, stretching out to the Atlantic. The view is from the Kilchoman dunes, looking towards Coull Point and Eilean an Tannais-sgeir to the left of it.
