Four Highland cattle and a sheep grazing on a field near Sunderland Farm, the low evening Sun providing some mild light.
It almost looks like they’re having a chat, two sheep and a Chough spotted in the machair at Ardnave. Choughs have a stronghold on Islay, in particular at Ardnave and Kilchoman.
On Islay the regular inhabitants sometimes have to share a field with the winter visitors. Here a large number of Barnacle Geese lands in field with some grazing sheep next to Loch Gruinart.
