A quite misty June day on the west coast of Islay, out for a walk on Kilchoman beach nevertheless. Here we are looking over and along some of the rocks at the southern end of the beach, with the horizon disappearing in the mist.

A sunny June afternoon on the west coast of Islay, out in Machir Bay off Kilchoman beach. I went for a splash in the waves of Machir Bay while being very careful and staying close to the beach so that I could always stand up and walk out. There can be dangerous currents, so you have to be very careful when going into the water. Picture taken by my sister Imke.
