A view from high above Bunnahabhain distillery north out of the Sound of Islay. A fishing boat is entering the sound from the north. Behind it Colonsay and Mull with Ben More, the only island Munro outside of Skye.
Probably one of the best driving views on Islay, the view from Port Askaig Brae. Especially on a clear sunny day with the amazing views of two of the Paps of Jura (the third is hiding behind them), Beinn a’ Chaolais and Beinn an Oir. The Sound of Islay between Islay and Jura just below the bend.
An April evening on the west coast of Islay. While the sunset wasn’t as good as I had hoped the gloaming after it was very nice. The north west horizon turned quite colourful, a great view from the beach as well as from up in the dunes.
