A panoramic view of the beach at Killinallan Point, at the entrance to Loch Gruinart. The dunes at Ardnave on the left, on the other side of Loch Gruinart. Hills in the north of Islay in the distance on the right.
On Islay the regular inhabitants sometimes have to share a field with the winter visitors. Here a large number of Barnacle Geese lands in field with some grazing sheep next to Loch Gruinart.
A small cairn someone had built near Kilnave on the shore of Loch Gruinart. Spotted during an Islay walking week walk many years ago. The dunes at Ardnave in the distance.
