Stone and shells in the Saligo dunes, Isle of Islay

A detail view somewhere in the Saligo dunes, if I remember correctly at the highest dune. A lot of shells (not sure why they are all in this spot) and a very smooth white stone (again I don’t know how/why it got there) in some beautiful April afternoon sunshine.

I believe the rocks in front have fallen off the crags below the old radar station, probably wise to be careful in the area. Below Kilchoman beach in Machir Bay in stretching out into the distance.
