Some nice mild April morning light on Kilchoman beach in Machir Bay on the west coast of Islay. Some seaweed/kelp washed up on the beach, the old wreck in the distance on the right.
A view west from just south west of Ardnave Point, looking towards Sanaigmore. Sanaigmore Bay (not visible) is just in front and to the left of the high cliffs in the distance.
An inviting bench (I’ve sat on it as well) to enjoy the view over Loch Fyne near Inveraray. The bench is next to the watchtower/folly above Inveraray Castle, near the summit of Dun na Cuaiche (248m). A great stop on the journey to Islay, from memory the walk up the hill doesn’t take very long and the views on a sunny day are very rewarding.
