An accidental picture, taken by unintentionally pressing the shutter button while out walking on the beach in Saligo Bay. Decided to not just delete it and instead just share it here. Somehow I like it, the footprints and other textures in the sand in mild sunlight.

A beautiful sunny April day on the Rhinns of Islay. The view is from the Loch Indaal Way coastal path over Port Charlotte on the shore of Loch Indaal in bright sunshine.

Looking through some rather old pictures taking me back to July 2001. Not the greatest quality, but then this was taken with my first digital camera with a fraction of the megapixels and modern phone has in 2026. It’s a submarine and a helicopter exercising off the south coast of Islay, seen from an Islay ferry (I think the Heb Isles).
