On of my favourite stops on the journey to Islay is at Loch Lomond, either at Firkin Point or around Duck Bay. During a visit in November I stopped for this view of a snow capped Ben Lomond across a calm Loch Lomond.
A beautiful June evening in the west of Islay, the sun setting behind the hills around Coull Farm as seen from the hill at Kilchoman Church. Saligo in the distance right of centre, Loch Gorm on the right.
A panoramic view from the flank of Corra Bheinn, on the way to the summit (right). Ahead of us is Beinn Shiantaidh, one of the Paps of Jura. Behind it to the right also Beinn an Oir, the highest of the the three Paps.
