A beautiful November afternoon on the west coast of Islay out on the beach in Saligo Bay. Looking across the rocky outcrops embedded in the sand to the waves rolling in from the Atlantic and breaking as they approach the shore.

Out on Kilchoman beach near the southern end of Machir Bay a day before a storm arrived. Waves are running out on the beach around the rocky outcrop of Carraig Chomain, some dark clouds overhead, but also some brightness over the crags.
