An April morning walk to the southern end of Kilchoman beach, looking back north. With the still low sun the dunes and crags throw some shade on the beach, but the waterline is already in the sunshine.
Unfortunately the only usable picture I managed to get of it, a mid air tussle between a Lapwing and a Heron. I was taking pictures of another bird when out of the corner of my eye noticed a commotion. Quickly pivoted over and rushed to take pictures. As quick as it started it was already over.
