A rare sight (I believe), a few white Bluebells among the regular Bluebells in Islay’s Bridgend Woods.

A view at the southern end of Bridgend Woods, sunlight streaming in from the shore of Loch Indaal. Bluebells covering the ground under the old trees.

I don’t know when it fell, but all that remains from a once proud tree is a rotting stump in Bridgend Woods. Moss and Bluebells now cover it, at some point it will disappear.
