Met this young dog on the Corran Sands on Islay’s neighbour Jura, wanting to play fetch again and again. Admittedly it’s not a stick though, but some seaweed which had to stand in as a stick. As you can see dog was happy anyway, wagging its tail.

Sometimes there are no sticks to hand, so you have to improvise. And for this young dog on the Corran Sands on Jura it made no difference, it was happy to play fetch with some seaweed.

I’m not entirely sure who it belonged to, I think it was one of the guides/helpers during the Islay walking week excursion to Colonsay in April 2019. This sheepdog decided to take a dip in one of the rock pools at the northern end of Kiloran Bay, just outside the caves we visited here.
