A panoramic view over Machir Bay with Kilchoman beach from the top of the dunes at the southern end of the bay on the west coast of Islay. On the right some of the colourful Machair is visible on top of the dunes. Some low mist/haar moving in over the bay.
Somewhere in the north west of Islay, a yellow Dragonfly (don’t know its official name) in the high grass of the machair.
It almost looks like they’re having a chat, two sheep and a Chough spotted in the machair at Ardnave. Choughs have a stronghold on Islay, in particular at Ardnave and Kilchoman.
