There are many natural arches on Islay, this is a fairly small one but you can still walk under it. My sister Imke is walking through it here during a walk from Killinallan to Mala Bholsa, the arch is near Gortantaoid.
In summer 2013 my sister Imke joined me for a summer holiday on Islay. One of the walks we did took us to Rhuvaal lighthouse (and beyond). Just below the lighthouse is this natural arch, of course I had to take a picture of it with my sister standing in it.
The coast around Mala Bholsa in the north of Islay has some amazing landscapes with all kinds of rock formations. This is one of the many natural arches in the area, behind it some interesting rocks rising out of the sea. In the background Colonsay and Mull with Ben More can be seen in the distance.
