One of the most impressive waterfalls on Islay, especially when in full flow, yet also quite well hidden. Because of the ‘wall’ in front of it it’s pretty much invisible from the sea, you can only see it from above.

Waterfall near Loch Tarbert, Isle of Jura There are a few nice waterfalls on Islay’s neighbour Jura, this one is near the shore of Loch Tarbert. I’m not sure what it is called, but I believe it is fed by Abhainn Luindale.
