A panoramic view of a lawn bordered by some colourful flower beds in the Jura House Gardens on Islay’s neighbour the Isle of Jura. The garden is a walled garden, providing protection against the harsh climate and allowing for colourful lush flowers and trees. This panorama is from a visit in June 2010, as unfortunately the gardens have since been closed to the public.
I miss my visits to the gardens – they were beautiful and I found, very restful.
Not to forget the tea tent. The scones were lovely (if the birds didn’t steal them from under your fingers…)

I also have quite a few plants in my garden that started life in Jura House Gardens.
Breathtaking…
