A small scene taking place on Kilchoman beach dozens or even hundreds of time every day. After a wave came in the water retreats again, swirling around what remains of the frame of the Patti, wrecked on the beach many many years ago
Islay is the only place I’ve been where you can just walk up to a shipwreck and look things over. It’s neat. Locals always seem glad to tell you about it if you see anyone out chasing their dog and/or child on the beach. Never a dull day!
