Most people will have only seen it from Kilchoman beach, here is a closer look at Eilean an Tannais-sgeir here seen pretty much as close as you can get from An Dòirlinn.

A view from a walk along the northern shore of Machir Bay to An Dòirlinn for a view to Eilean an Tannais-sgeir. Near An Dòirlinn is this wee stony beach at an inlet with a big rock lump in the middle. The view goes out over Machir Bay to the Kilchoman Crags, Kilchiaran and the coastline south towards Lossit Bay.
