A November afternoon on the west coast of Islay, a colourful red sunset approaching over Saligo Bay.

Blink and you’ve missed it. Fighter jets are rather fast, only just managed to catch this one in a picture as it shot over Islay, turning over Machir Bay. This was in October (2011), considering all the Geese and Swans arriving around that time I’m not sure it’s such a good idea to practice flying low over Islay at that time?
