Blink and you’ve missed it. Fighter jets are rather fast, only just managed to catch this one in a picture as it shot over Islay, turning over Machir Bay. This was in October (2011), considering all the Geese and Swans arriving around that time I’m not sure it’s such a good idea to practice flying low over Islay at that time?

A quite rare sighting, an Otter on the rocks on Kilchoman beach in Machir Bay. Spotted during an April morning walk on Islay quite a few years ago.
