Watched from the southernmost dune at Saligo on the west coast of Islay, waves rolling into Saligo Bay from the Atlantic and breaking as they reach the cliffs at the southern end of the bay.
Somehow managed to capture them all empty, so you can take your pick where you’d like to sit. A variety of benches outside of Laphroaig distillery on a sunny June afternoon. Right under the famous warehouse no.1. At a table for a lunch in the sun. Or at the shore of Loch Laphroaig for a view out to sea.
I can’t remember its name, but after my earlier post of this dog at Laphroaig I’ve made some inquiries and found that this is indeed a local dog. It goes down to Loch Laphroaig regularly to play and make new friends. When I get a chance I’ll have to dig out its name.
