Lighthouse keeper’s headstone at Kilchoman, Isle of Islay

Possibly the most impressive gravestone on Islay, a memorial headstone to a member of the family of an assistant lightkeeper at the Rhinns of Islay lighthouse. I believe the inscription reads: Ja.B. Scott — August 20, 1845. I read that is uses the emblem of the Northern Lighthouse Board (NLB).

This headstone used to be at the wall between Kilchoman church and Kilchoman Cottages, where I took this picture in June 2018. However, I understand it has recently disappeared. If anyone knows where it is please share any information you might have.
