Watched from Kilchoman beach on the west coast of Islay, a single wave breaking in Machir Bay under some colourful mostly red and orange clouds in the gloaming after a November sunset.
Having enjoyed a stunning sunset and a beautiful gloaming on a November afternoon on Kilchoman beach I decided it was time to leave for a visit to Kilchoman distillery just up the road. On my way back to the car I had this last look back over the beach and Machir Bay in the gloaming over the west coast of Islay.
