A view on the beach in Saligo Bay on the west coast of Islay. Two large stones are embedded in the sand, standing in a row leading to a well known rock formation in the distance.
A view inland from the highest dune at Saligo Bay, looking the opposite way from the dune and beach panorama. The Paps of Jura nicely visible in the distance in the beautiful June evening light.
A June evening (on the longest day of the year to be precise) on the west coast of Islay, on the dunes overlooking Saligo Bay. I believe this dune is the highest of the dunes along the bay, providing great views across the bay, coast and also the inland.
