Must admit I don’t know what this Swallow photographed in June 2025 is bringing back and for what exactly. It seems to be some kind of stick, some grass seeds and some mud? Not sure if it was for nest building or to somehow feed the young ones?

An early summer view from a walk near Loch Skerrols and Octovullin, looking over a fresh green field to Islay’s neighbour with the Paps of Jura in the distance
