Fairly small but very beautiful, the beach near Port na Gallochoille on Islay’s neighbour Gigha. The view is north east over the Sound of Gigha with the Kintyre mainland in the distance.
A beautiful April sunset on the west coast of Islay at Saligo Bay The low sun shining some beautiful mild light on to the smooth beach with a few embedded rocks.
A view north west from the old hide at RSPB Gruinart. No birds immediately visible in the picture because it’s a quite wide angle, but there was plenty to see with binoculars. In the far distance just left of centre you can just spot Ben More on the Isle of Mull, the only island Munro outside of Skye.
