When out for a walk on Kilchoman beach I sometimes combine the walk with an attempt of a beach clean. On this occasion in June 2018 I was lucky and found this box to carry what I found: plastic bottles, margarine tubs, old ropes, plastic sheets and more.
Having watched them passing Ardbeg pier I watched the group from Kayak Wild Islay continue past the headlands towards Lagavulin on a beautiful June day on Islay in 2018.
Somewhere between Port Charlotte and Nerabus on the Rhinns of Islay, a hungry young calf with its mother.
