Out for a walk on Kilchoman beach and on to the old Kilchiaran radar station on a beautiful bright November morning with huge big skies over Machir Bay. Waves rolling in from the Atlantic, breaking as they approach the beach.

Waves rolling into Saligo Bay from the Atlantic often break spectacularly, especially when reaching the rugged rocky shore at the southern end. Here a breaking wave sends a huge splash and spray high into the air.
