Near the end of a visit to Lossit Bay, exploring the northern end of the beach where Lossit Burn meanders over the beach before flowing into the Atlantic. My sister Imke on the right.

A view between some rocks at Lossit Bay on Islay’s Atlantic coast, some footprints in the sand from when I walked through this gap filming a video. Some nice sunshine on the clear turquoise water in the bay with a small wave breaking. Picture taken by my sister Imke.

Another picture from me going wild swimming in Machir Bay off Kilchoman beach, here my sister Imke captured me splashing around a bit in the waves. In this picture it might look like I’m in deep water, but rest assured I wasn’t. As there can be dangerous currents in Machir Bay I made sure I stayed close to the shore and was always able to stand.
