A view north west from the southern end of Machir Bay on the west coast of Islay. A large rock is embedded in the beach, smoothed by millions of years of the water and and sand sanding it down. In a way it looks like a miniature mountain with the summit on the right.
A view out to sea over Machir Bay from the dunes at Kilchoman on a breezy November morning on Islay. Eilean an Tannais-sgeir in the centre, Coull Point towards the right.
