A large number of Barnacle Geese flying low over some dunes, seen from Kilchoman beach. I think somewhere close to Coull Farm, but I’m not 100% sure.

Seen in the November sunset light from Machir Bay, a fence left “floating” in the air at Kilchoman where the dune it was standing on has eroded away.

A view north on a mostly cloudy afternoon on the west coast of Islay. A good number of Barnacle Geese are flying west over Cnoc Mòr (82m) to land at the coast between Machir Bay and Saligo Bay. In the foreground the wreck of the Patti is sticking out the sand of Kilchoman beach.
