A beautiful April evening on the west coast of Islay, watching the sunset over the northern end of Machir Bay from Kilchoman beach. A tiny sliver of the sun just visible behind the horizon, disappearing within the next few seconds leaving only the beautiful light of the gloaming.

Taken from just below Loch Indaal lighthouse in the last light of the gloaming, a view of the rocky cliffs with waves breaking over the rocks towards Port Charlotte on the Rhinns of Islay. Towards the left you can just make out the Oa.
