A beautiful June evening on Islay, on the return leg from a walk around Ardnave and towards Sanaigmore I had this great view of Mala Bholsa (127m) with Jura in the background.

Seen across the Sound of Islay from Feolin on Jura, an old ketch (unfortunately I don’t know her name) passing Caol Ila distillery.

Normally it’s moored at the other end of Port Askaig, below the old station, but on this sunny June afternoon the Islay lifeboat was tied up at the main pier.
