A view from the track between Kilchoman and Kilchiaran, looking over Machir Bay with Kilchoman beach while Granny(‘s Rock) is looking over everything. Some June haar is lingering over the bay and the beach.

After some heavy overnight rain the small burn (I still don’t know the name of) running down the Kilchoman crags on to Kilchoman beach is flowing in full spate under the Kilchoman to Kilchiaran track bridge.

A slightly different view north from the old radar station at Kilchiaran on an October morning over Machir Bay with Kilchoman beach on the west coast of Islay to the one I posted earlier. The sheep still in view in the foreground. Which one do you prefer, this one or the other one?
