A view over the coastline stretching south west from Kilchiaran Bay. Taken on a hazy April afternoon on a walk from Kilchoman over Bealach na Caillich to Kilchiaran.
Some of the cliffs on the west coast of Islay, south of Kilchiaran. The waves crashing against and over the cliffs and rocks create quite a lot of spray, which is carried high into the air.
A fairly rare sight I believe, this farm at Kilchiaran is round. I don’t know if it is a listed building, either way, it’s still well preserved in its old shape.
