A memory from a walk up the Kilchoman to Kilchiaran track in October 2021. A new gate had just been installed, making passing through it much easier (the old one was quite hard to open and close).

A nice sunny September day on the west coast of Islay, a surfer wading out into the waves rolling on to Kilchoman beach in Machir Bay. I think she was pondering the waves before deciding her next move, which way to paddle out for a good wave to surf.
