Spotted this phenomenon in the sky above Kilchoman on an April 2025 morning. I believe it’s called a sundog, but I’d be happy to be corrected if I’m wrong. The low morning sun was behind the hills to the right.

A beautiful sunny April day on Kilchoman beach on the west coast of Islay. Two dogs enjoying a run out on the beach, the larger one carrying a tennis ball, the smaller one trying the keep up on its much shorter legs.
