A view south from Saligo in the west of the Rhinns of Islay. In front of us Saligo Cottage with some sheep grazing in a field opposite. Behind it on the low hill is Coulererach. And in the distance the Kilchoman Crags with the old radar station and modern telecommunication masts.

A November sunset on the west coast of Islay. Clouds over Machir Bay mostly hide the sun, yet we are treated to some beautiful dramatic colours over the waves rolling into the bay and breaking as they approach Kilchoman beach.
