One of my favourite views on Islay, the colourful machair along some of the coasts. This panorama shows some of the machair at Kilchoman, the crags on the left, the dunes ahead and on the right.

A beautiful sunny and warm June afternoon at the west coast of Islay. Several cattle and a few sheep have decided to take a rest on the machair on the dunes at Saligo. And while you can’t see it in the picture, Saligo Bay is just behind the dune.
