A cloudy November afternoon on the west coast of Islay. After an earlier sunny afternoon I had hoped for a nice sunset, but when I arrived at Kilchoman beach it had clouded over, in particular towards the horizon. Still, I managed to catch a brief glimpse on the setting Sun at the horizon over Machir Bay, briefly colouring the clouds red before it disappeared. Some nice waves were breaking close to the beach, throwing spray high into the air.
