A hazy morning in Machir Bay on the west coast of Islay. The wreck on the beach still clearly visible while haze is drifting in over the bay, partially obscuring the view of the hills and cliffs in the distance.
An early selfie from before the term selfie existed. Not taken with an outstretched arm but by setting the camera on a rock and switching on the self timer. That’s me during my second Islay visit 15 years ago, posing on some rocks at the southern end of Machir Bay.
